Through Doctor On Call, Dr. Vigil hopes to provide such a model of health care delivery and, by example to his colleagues, to forge a new way--or more appropriately--an old, but nearly forgotten way of thinking about how we think about our patients and how we can best deliver our services to them in order to ease their burden of suffering.
